For almost 40 years (since 1974), S. Carol White served the citizens of northern New Jersey communities with quality healthcare and dedicated service. For more than 20 of those years she committed herself, along with others, to recruiting and training the most dedicated and talented EMTs she could develop. Today, thousands of volunteer and career healthcare professionals attribute much of their success to her tireless care and commitment to their learning. On June 10, 2012, S. Carol White lost a long battle with cancer. S. Carole White EMS Training Academy is proud to continue her commitment to providing quality EMS training on her behalf.
Paula Weiler, Coordinator and Jeanette Coviello, Lead Instructor at S. Carol White, are shown during a recent training class for bandaging and splinting. The class was held at Franklin Lakes Volunteer Ambulance Corps. During the three hour class, the instructors provided an in-depth presentation on trauma wounds and fractures and what interventions could be used by EMTs. Paula and Jeanette, also long time EMTs, shared new ideas that will help EMTs treat trauma victims. All EMTs received 3 CEUs for attendance.
