List of A, B, C Recertification Classes
As a requirement, each EMT must take classes for Parts A, B, and C every 3 years. Each part is 8 hours and 8 core credits. Classes may be taken in any order and at any authorized location.
The NJ State Department of Health has issued a new EMT Training Fund Form (EMS-62) to be used for all EMT Basic & EMT Refresher Programs effective immediately.

Presently, It seems like the State is only requiring new and re-entering EMTs to take the National Registry Exam. Please see the last document that is published on their website.
