Important information from NJ OEMS:
For all EMS electronic Patient Care Reporting (ePCR) administrators:
This email was sent out by the NJ OEMS and serves as a reminder of the transition to the National Emergency Medical Services Information System (NEMSIS) version 3.4 for electronic Patient Care Reporting (ePCR) systems.
In an effort to remain compliant with NEMSIS requirements, NJ will be transitioning to NEMSIS 3.4 data set January 1, 2017. Therefore, all agencies must utilize NEMSIS 3 compliant software and submit NEMSIS 3 data by December 31, 2016. For questions regarding NEMSIS 3 or to view a list of compliant software, visit: http://www.nemsis.org/v3/
For Agencies using ImageTrend: Image Trend Elite is now available and agencies can begin migrating to Elite at any time. Contact ImageTrend Support at: [email protected] . Online training for Image Trend Elite is available through their website. Representatives will be available at the 2016 NJ Statewide Conference on EMS.
For Agencies using emsCharts: Please contact your Software Administrator or visit the emsCharts website for updated information and for the steps needed to complete the transition. Representatives will be available at the 2016 NJ Statewide Conference on EMS.
For Agencies using Zoll: Please work directly with your vendor representative and contact the Office with any questions
For all other agency vendors: Please have your vendor contact the Office of EMS with questions regarding State data and NEMSIS 3.4
